It is said on in the Sun that The pop star turned fashion designer will be visiting china next week where she will parade her latest VB clothing line. I am thrilled that she decide to take her inspiration from the east china so much more of traditional chinese elements and the unique aesthetic will be discovered and put on show in a global sense.
Chen Man has always been one of my favorite photographer and I assume that everyone saw the fabulous shoot she did for I-D magazine recently. I am not merely in love with her works but more than that, I find a connection and got inspired, it must because of the cultural background we share since we both Chinese. It is the atmosphere and the tension in all of her works representing the rich chinese aesthetic in a very strong and harmonious way.
