Cape collection by Shujing Liu-GSA 2012 Fashion Show
This is a collection by Shujing Liu, The China born student is currently in 3rd year of art school, specializing in embroidery. Her collection is based on a journey she undertaken, taking inspiration from travel, nostalgia, memories, modern architecture and historical detail. She explored unusual materials to creating interesting 3D forms and texture. It is a collection about playing harmony and contrast with hard leather against delicate organza, experimental 3 dimensions using methods such as layering, gathering, cutworks, using experimental techniques to push the boundaries.
